The next thing you can check is to see if your gimbal has a black sticker on the side of the pitch axis. This is where the Go Pro or phone sits against. The sticker acts as a cushion between the gimbal and device. If it doesn't, please email us at support@welcometoskylab.com and we will ship you one.
Another common reason for this is if your screws are not tight enough. Make sure you screw them in all the way and that your Go Pro or phone is touching the black sticker.

Yes, that is standard, the gimbal uses "inverted" controls. The controls are not adjustable.
My controls are opposite, is that normal?
You are receiving this error because the Gimbal isn’t properly connected to the computer. Try these steps here:
Now take the batteries out of the gimbal.
Hold down the power button for 5 seconds, and plug in the micro USB to the gimbal while still holding the power button. Wait a few seconds, then let go of power button.
5. Next, click search serial, then use the drop down box and the gimbal should pop up as “COM 1,2,3, OR 4”.
